Job Title: Project/Account Manager

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Job Description:

We are a digital consultancy with offices in the UK and Nairobi. We are seeking a Project/Account Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for managing our client accounts and ensuring that their digital projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will report to and work alongside the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client accounts and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Create scopes of work that accurately reflect client requirements and ensure that they are properly communicated to the development team.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage basic QA testing to ensure that deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Solve problems that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients when required.
  • Analyse data and use it to make informed decisions that benefit our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Support business development activities, including lead generation, proposal writing, and pitching.
  • Work with the CEO to identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Support UK and Kenya clients, as required.


  • Proven experience in project management and account management. 
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and make informed decisions.
  • Technical ability is a plus, with experience in web development, WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify being highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Customer-focused and willing to go above and beyond to meet client expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in scoping projects and understanding client requirements.
  • Experience in managing basic QA testing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail is a must.

  • A passion for eCommerce and a deep understanding of the industry’s best practices and trends.
  • Experience as a business analyst is desirable, as the candidate will need to work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable project requirements.
  • Familiarity with social media and digital marketing is a plus, as our projects often require a comprehensive approach to digital marketing and advertising.
